A manifestação estética de ilustrações artivistas: a propagação da ilustração "O conhecimento destrói mitos"

Abstract

The present work had as main objective to analyze the propagation of the illustration "O conhecimento destrói mitos". For this, it was necessary to do a bibliographic research to understand the role of art in society. Through their aesthetic manifestation, some artists also end up playing the role of activists, generating debate on a particular subject, and people consume their art as a way of identifying what they say. For this reason, this creative product can propagate and reach an unexpected range for the artist. To achieve the objectives of the work, a case study of the art created by the illustrator Amanda Lopes, through a semi-structured interview, and later an analysis of the information obtained was also performed. The research sought theoretical support in authors such as Henry Jenkins (2014), Priscila Arantes (2005), Gui Bonsiepe (2011) and Gisela Belluzo (2009) as the most relevant references. The findings of this research reveal curiosities about spreadable media and show that the power of artivism is only forecast to grow. In the socio-political question, they allow the artist to express himself, to identify himself, and to buy the idea faster and more effectively.
