Análise da implantação de computação em nuvem: estudo de caso na alfa informatica.net – Currais Novos

Abstract

Cloud computing is considered the new computer model of storing and processing information. Increasingly companies start to invest in this new technology, seeking to improve their services and their way of operating. Although there are many researches on the theme of cloud computing, the studies and analysis from factors cloud deploying in small businesses in Rio Grande do Norte are few. This study aims to analyze the cloud computing providers available in the market, as well and the analysis of risk factors and benefits presented by technology, establishing a relationship between the factors identified by the studied company and the factors pointed in the literature. The collection of data was conducted through an interview on Alfa Informática .NET company, as well as bibliographic research. The research was conducted from an exploratory case study, and the analysis of qualitative type. Results of the study shows that the most important factors for the Alfa deploy or not deploy the cloud are: clients acceptance, providing infrastructure and storage of data by third parties, scalability, availability, network access, security of data traveling over the network , cost, support servers, deployment times. Based on these results and analysis on the cloud and Internet providers, The Alfa and other companies in the region may have a greater understanding of the challenges to cloud adoption, and so counteract the advantages and disadvantages of adopting the cloud.
